When I went to sleep,
I took so many nightmares
With me -
That I was awake.

When I was awake
The darkness showed me,
The realities of my life:
The moon above, a cloud,
A star-lit spangled night.

I saw it all
It was a great show.
My nightmares were gone
And what remained with me:
Made me feel great!
