To kill the futility of most days,
I've thought of a plan.
I've dreamt of an alternate universe -
Where I'll be the sole inhabitant.
And silence will be all the language
Of my new home.
Possibly, I'll have heard my own voice!
Possibly, I'll be a poet of promise.
