Once upon a time -
Like other creatures,
I arrived.
I was given a name.
God grew with me.

Over and over,
Wherever I went,
God followed.
He did not leave,
God grew in me.

All the while,
For newly favours asked,
I remind Him -
How He has forgiven me
My mistakes.

To this wholly present miracle
Of my state,
I am struck in many postures
Of worship.
One of them is to live with Him in me.
